After spending 45 years in the business world and over 20 years working with nonprofits, Brian Bingel has always been passionate about serving those in need. His previous work included running a Case Management Software company that helped homeless shelters and government programs support the less fortunate. While he loved providing technology to make a difference, Brian saw the real heroes as the case managers working on the front lines.
In 2021, after selling his company and retiring, Brian and his wife Marti purchased a ranch in Bayfield, CO. What started as a fire mitigation project turned into something bigger—an opportunity to give back to the community. With piles of wood scattered across the ranch, Brian knew there were families in Durango who relied on wood for heat. That first year, he and his family cut, split, and delivered wood, giving it away to those in need.
By 2023, it became clear that Oneness needed a sustainable model to continue helping more families. Brian introduced below-market prices for wood while still ensuring that those who couldn't afford it received support. For him, Oneness is not just about providing resources—it’s about community, compassion, and the belief that we are all connected.
Brian’s philosophy is simple: how we treat others is a reflection of who we are. He is deeply committed to serving with love, using his talents and resources to make a difference in the lives of others. His vision for Oneness is rooted in the belief that we all have a choice in how we serve and that together, we can create a better world.
